Pickles? Gross!

Bells has decided she likes pickles. Gross.

I don't know why I say that, because in all honesty, I like me some kosher baby dills quite a lot. It did take me several years to like them though.

Maybe it was because my brother lived off of pickles growing up- and not the good ones, but the giant too tart and nasty ones that you cut up for hamburgers kinds.

Anyway, the thought of kids eating pickles grosses me out.

I'm also attempting to let things go. I have too much to do, and not enough time to do it all. Until some legislative measures go into effect, money is tight enough that we can't save for a house very effectively. Once that happens, we'll be able to save up a substantial amount because it will lessen the amount we have to pay on Drew's student loans. So until then, I'm trying to make due with what we have.

Our situation isn't horrible, it's just not what I had envisioned. I expected to be a stay at home mom, exercising when I wanted, and being able to work in the yard. None of which has happened. I'm having to adjust to my life as I know it, and it's a difficult thing to face- so I'm trying to make the most of it. I've decided (I think..and this could change too) that I would like to hire someone to come clean up my house every so often- once a week, twice a month? I'm not sure...

I just can't do it all, and one of the things I'm willing to let go of is housework. I hate it, and it creates resentment and internal hatred. If I'm not having to sweep, mop and clean the bathroom, it should give me time for other more important things, like exercise- right?

I've come to terms with the child care and working bit. It's the after work life I can't quite figure out. blah. Soo....know of any good/trustworthy/decently priced house cleaners?

And just because, here's some pics :)

Paper- it's delicious

Naughty baby! Found Daddy's glasses! hahaha good thing those things are so flexible, or else they would have snapped when she got them off!
