GAH!

I took my laptop apart last night- which was fun to see since I have never taken a laptop apart before. Bad thing is, is that there weren't any 'Ah-HA' moments of - this is why it isn't working! I have always been able to figure out why a desktop computer isn't working, so for this to happen was very discouraging. Drew and I tried several different possibilities for trying to get the laptop to work to no avail. I am at a loss. I have a slight idea that it might be the cable that runs from the ac adapter to the mother board and it may have a short in it, but nothing smells burnt, nothing looks burnt. I can't imagine my motherboard really being fried?

So here I am, pouting beyond extreme because my baby is dead. I hate using Drew's laptop. It's not the same, my iTunes isn't on it, my games aren't on it, my bookmarks and passwords aren't on it. This whole last 2 weeks has definitely made me appreciate and try hard to remember my passwords everywhere.

So now I feel stuck. Do I find some place around town that will help me diagnose my computer, or do I keep the harddrive and sell the rest for parts? I am an emotional wreck already, and for this to happen has made everything escalate. I don't even feel like taking pictures cause it makes me so angry.

I guess at least I'm prepared for when the doctor scolds me again on Monday for gaining too much weight. I can blow up at him if he really pisses me off- I feel it's warranted.

Positives this week? I didn't cry at work! Sweet little girl has figured out that ribs are a great way to rest the feet. At least she's moving lots, right?

.....yeah, that's about it...

This and That

I don't have a whole lot to update. My battery charger on my computer pooted out on me last week and I ordered a new one. So now I'm waiting for it to arrive. In the meantime, since Drew's done with school (except finals!), he let me borrow his while he's at work during the day. I'm glad he has, but not having my laptop makes me sad. I guess waiting patiently is a skill I involuntarily acquired.

So let's see, last Friday, I went on a field trip with my 2nd graders to OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). They had a Leonardo DaVinci exhibit that was painfully boring to the kids, but extremely entertaining to me! They had a huge area dedicated to the Mona Lisa, and I learned lots of things I didn't know before. I'd go look at it again....although it being free for teachers was definitely a bonus. They even had space ice cream there. I didn't buy any though, since I told my kiddos they couldn't go in the gift shop...I didn't want to be a hypocrite. Another time though!!!

I only have 9 more weeks of lugging around "little" girl. This heartburn land is going to burn holes in my esophogus. It is horrendous. I apparently can do a new trick now where I can be asleep-- sleeping propped up in fact, and still have acid reflux pool in my throat, causing me to choke and cough myself awake several times a night. I don't mind the kicking, the rolling, the stabbing, but this acid reflux is the pits. I have never been so uncomfortable in my entire life! AND knowing my luck, she'll decide to show up like 2 weeks late. I wonder how quickly after the due date I can insist on being induced? (note to ask on monday. hahaha)

Alrighty, time to go look in the cupboards and decide what to eat for dinner. OH CRAP! I totally forgot to go get my Tagamet at the store! Maybe I'll go do that and THEN eat dinner. pooh...

It is DONE!

I finished the purple blanket! It's big and warm, and I'm done with my fingers sweating as I knit!

Happy Easter Everybody!

This year, for Easter, I didn't even get a lump of coal. I must have been a bad girl. The Easter Bunny sent me to the store to get his eggs, and they were ALL GONE!!!!! THREE different stores. I was so sad. Whoever bought those last Bunny Eggs and didn't save any for me was a very, very, very, very selfish person- and I don't like you. Now Easter will NEVER COME! Thanks a lot. Oh, and p.s. stores- NO ONE LIKES THE CARAMEL ONES, SO STOP STOCKING THEM!

I suppose I should give props to Jesus though- he is pretty awesome. He did some pretty magical things, and I think he should try out for the Quidditch team since he's obviously very good at magic. Thanks for being so great, Jesus!

Now back to eating Peeps cause everyone knows how much we American's love to devour tiny little chicks on Easter!

**You know what's pathetic? With these pregnancy hormones, I almost CRIED at the store because they were out of cabury eggs...how sad is that?!

The Coast + Christmas

I had wanted to go to the coast for Drew's and my anniversary in May, but it looks like most everything is booked for where I want to stay. I then thought maybe I would schedule something a little after Drew's birthday in June, but there aren't a whole lot of days available, and with baby fodder, I'm just not too sure how likely I am to want to really go- I think getting set up in a baby routine might be more important- and Drew doesn't really care about it as much as I do. So that leaves me with potential Christmas time.

There's still room available at my new favorite place in Glendeden over Christmas. I also honestly don't see us having the money to fly or drive to Utah or Cali for Christmas if I'm not working that year. This would give us a chance to go have a fun time without breaking the bank.

So my question is, is anyone interested in joining us before I book it? That way I can get a more rooms for more people.

Anyway, it's just a thought. Drew's not completely sold on it, so who knows what'll happen. Let me know if you're interested though!
