Happy 3 Months Old-iversary, Elisabeth!

Tomorrow (Monday) Elisabeth will be 3 months old- can you believe it?! Cause I sure can't! I was going through pictures just now and I'm amazed at how much she's grown. It doesn't seem like it until I look at pictures, but wowee- she is just amazing!

She can coo and goo and sigh with the best of them

She can sleep through the night

She is very good at shoving her hands in her mouth, and has recently taken to enjoying licking her left index finger.

She can almost roll over from her tummy to her back (but HATES being on her stomach, so we coddle her a bit too much on this, I'm sure)

She can roll onto her left side from her back, but hasn't quite figured out how to roll completely over.

She can prop herself up on her arms while on her tummy and can consistently hold her neck at a 45 degree angle, and is getting to the 90 degree angle mark here and there.

She smiles for us all the time- but getting a smile on camera is difficult since she's so interested in what we're doing, she'll stop smiling to stare!

We even got her to laugh this past few days which has been exciting.

She enjoys watching her daddy play video games on his computer and strangely enough, enjoys watching football on tv.

She's holding her head up on her own almost all the time, and will even try to pull herself up into a better sitting position with her stomach muscles

She can almost sit up by herself if you position her!

She loves looking at pictures and listening to books

She's tasted (aside from golden milk!) lemon popsicles, dairy queen ice cream, licorice, tortillas and last, but not least, a pickle!

I can't believe how much she's accomplished in such a short amount of time! She is absolutely amazing and I am amzed at how utterly in love I am with her more, and more, every single day!

Showing you her devil horns!

Showing you her gecko and bottle- two favorite things!

Mommy and baby- Ellie forgot to look!

Watching Daddy play his video games!

Showing you her awesome sunglasses!

This was Drew trying to entertain her cause she wasn't feeling well today! hahaha she started crying right when I got the camera out to take a picture!

Happy girl!

Spontaneous family picture, Ellie forgot to look again- and I cut my hair :)

Yay for bath time!!!

Cutie hat!- looking at Great-grandma Bricker

We love you Elliebellies!

My cabbage patch

When I was little, I think I got the hand-me-down cabbage patch dolls from my older brother and sister. But guess what? I have one of my very own now!

They're practically twins

Hey, look Shel, she isn't crying! HAHAHA

What's this you ask? Well it's my cucumber. I grew it from a seed! It's my only one, but I sure was proud of it! LOL

Anyone know what this animal is?

Shel, this one is for you, tears and all!

And a smile!

and a HOOOO

So as for me and my world- I'm describing it as running around with my head cut off. I wake up at 5am to leave the house by 7am. I pick up Ellie by 3:30, feed her, get her down for a nap, fix dinner, feed her, bathe me, bathe baby, feed her, go to sleep by 9 or 10pm, and do it all over again. Like I said; running around with my head cut off, and I am absolutely exhausted.

We had meetings 2 of the 4 days this week that left me with very little prep time, so I have been pulling stuff together last minute, which I hate- especially at the beginning of the year. Thankfully I made it, and it was a good week. I like how I have learned to be extremely strict for the first little while and won't put up with any guff from the kids so that later I can be a lot more lenient.

Hopefully once I get things in order in the class, and with prep work, I can calm down a bit, but it's definitely going to be a few weeks. If I had known I was doing 2nd grade even a week or two longer than I had, it would be a completely different story.

As for milestones that the wee one has mastered, she has figured out where her eyes are today and has been rubbing them when the sun gets in her eyes, or when she's tired. It is absolutely adorable! She can hold her head up pretty high while on her tummy but hasn't figured out how to roll herself over since all she does is scream like a raptor. Oh well, someday!

Drew's grandpa passed away this week. He lived down in Albany (OR), so we have to head down there tomorrow morning for the services. It's going to be a loooonnnngggg day. Thank goodness for Stake Conference on Sunday!

oh so fast

man, just when I get through cleaning out email and ready to post a blog, Ellie wakes up and starts crying. So since I'm typing one handed, I'll just post some pictures.

School started this week. I have an interesting class, but all is well.
