The Trend

I've read a little too much overshare of others lately as well as articles about why some people choose not to post pictures of their children online.  I know there are people who read and follow my blog, and I'm perfectly happy with that.  However, I think I'm going to feel more comfortable knowing WHO is looking at pictures of my family.  Over the next couple of weeks (when I have some time) I'm going to set up a different blog address so that I can continue my blog there privately.  If I want to post something non-family related i.e. cake decorating or the like, I'll make sure to post it here as well.  I know there are a few people I will put on my approved list without them telling me to put them on there, but if I don't necessarily know who you are, or maybe your email isn't on facebook, or I don't email you often, will you please shoot me an email so I can put you on my list? Aww! Come on! You're going private when your blog address is "youcanbenoseyat?"
Another one bites the dust!
I understand why you're doing it. I'm just bad at keeping track of private blogs. I'm paranoid about my kids, too. I won't post their names on my other public blog, and I've made sure my family blog doesn't show up on my profile. That's about as paranoid as I'm willing to be right now because I find private blogs so inconvenient.

I have a friend who made that jump a few months or so ago. Whenever she wrote on her private blog, she also made a post on her public blog that said "go here!" because there were many of us that read via google reader. Is that something you'd be interested in? Just throwing it out there for us google readers who tend to forget about the private blogs. (Sad but true.)

I like the idea of having another blog. Maybe I will make my current one private and the other public. That way my past stuff isn't still public.

Have you looked at the Lilypie breastfeeding ticker? The photo they have as a sample is really gay
