Our little girl asked if we could go see the ocean this weekend, so what would good parents do? Say ABSOLUTELY, of course! Ellie had lots of fun tasting the windy air and wearing her too big for her sun glasses!


It was extremely windy, and perfect for all the kite surfers!

Our trip to Salt Lake

This might be my new favorite picture!



We went down to Salt Lake to visit family for a week and got back a few days ago. That was the most jam-packed trip I think we have ever taken. I think we (on average) got about 5-6 hours a sleep a night and would wake up and get going with something different every single day! It was exhausting!!! We had a ton of fun though, and I actually left missing my family more than I ever have before!

I had to pick and choose the pictures and still ended up with a bunch on here. We had a great time visiting family, friends, and eating lots of food. We miss you guys! But I missed my ocean more! hehehehe :) j/k

Smiles!

Our little girl is smiling more and more lately!! Mainly in the morning when she first gets up, Drew and I usually each get 1 or 2 smiles out of her. Then it's down to business for the rest of the day, and no smiles again til the next day.

Yesterday, we were on our way to run some errands and she was sitting in her car seat ready to go. I had to put on hair accessories so she looked like a girl since she was wearing green and I got a teeny smile out of her while she was waiting!!




This is one later that day. She looked hilarious all wide mouth and passed out. So fun!

Drew is done taking his bar exam and now we have to wait til Sept. 11 for the results! Let's hope and pray things go well and we don't have to deal with him having to retake that brutal test!!

The B A R

Drew is currently in his little test session to take the bar. I'm nervous for him. That is definitely a test I would hate taking. I'm anxious for his lunch break to see how things are going. The worst part of this whole test? ..it's not having him gone for 2 days up in pdx so he doesn't have to drive back and forth, and can get more sleep, but that it takes until September 11th for the results. This is going to kill me!
